Tomorrow is my last half of the season. And truth be told I’m kind of looking forward to it. I’ve had a race almost every month since September. Although I love getting to travel somewhere new and collect some race bling, I’m tired of training. And I’m almost tired of running. Well not tired of running but I’m looking forward to being able to run without having to think about an upcoming race. I’ve switched my long runs for long bike rides and have tried to incorporate more strength training into my workouts. And I must say that biking 10 miles is much faster and more fun than running it. At least at the moment.
So with the exception of a 10k next Saturday, my next race isn’t until October. And since the temperature is already in the 80s here in FL, I think my new goal will be to start including more swimming into my workouts. So peeps, hold me accountable!
